matt weston and logan
Nulo partner Matt Weston is a British skeleton racer and two-time World Champion. In 2023, he became the first British male world champion since Kristan Bromley in 2008, then made history again in 2025 by becoming Britain's first two-time skeleton world champion. He's also won back-to-back overall Skeleton World Cup titles in 2024 and 2025, cementing his place as one of the sport's most dominant competitors.
Off the track, Matt's constant companion is Logan, a 10-year-old working cocker spaniel with a stubborn streak. Logan loves a mix of two lifestyles, bringing big energy on walks, but loving nothing more than relaxing on the sofa when they get home. As Matt's number one teammate, Logan provides unconditional support and love, especially important given Matt's frequent travel schedule. No matter what happens on the track, Logan is always there, tail wagging, helping Matt feel at home and supported. Matt sat down with the Nulo team to share why he trusts Nulo to fuel Logan with the same performance nutrition he demands for himself.
Tell us about your pet, Logan, and how he fits into your life.
Logan is a 10-year-old working cocker spaniel. He's very stubborn when he wants to be, especially about food, which is his massive driver and why he loves Nulo. He's got a pretty gray beard now, but who knows why—he's got a simple, stress-free lifestyle.
Logan is my number one teammate. He's my support in my corner who loves me unconditionally. To have that type of support, especially when I'm traveling a lot of the time, is amazing. He's always there when I get back, and no matter what happens on the track, I can count on Logan to greet me with tail wagging.
What role has Logan played in your skeleton career?
Logan has played a massive role in my skeleton career. He's almost as old as my career, so he was there when I started out, and then to see me being World Champion, and everything in between. No matter what success I see, he just wants to hang out with me when I get home and loves me for me.
Why is nutrition important for both you and Logan?
Nutrition is critical for an athlete. You wouldn't fuel a race car with normal fuel. The same goes for athletes—you have to eat the best to perform the best, and that's why I give Logan Nulo.
Nutrition is important for all dogs. They don't have a choice in what they eat. You're the one responsible for them. It's up to me, and I'm very conscious of giving Logan the best. That’s my non-negotiable.
