Anna Hall And Emma
ambassador
Nulo is excited to partner with Silver Medalist Heptathlete Anna Hall and her labrador Emma in celebrating the incredible bond between pets and their pet parents.
Anna is a standout American track & field athlete specializing in the combined events. Anna's list of personal accomplishments includes winning the silver medal in the heptathlon at the 2023 World Championships and winning the bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships. Additionally, she is the North American indoor record holder for the pentathlon. She is also a three-time U.S. national champion and won two NCAA Division I titles representing the University of Florida.
We sat down with Anna to learn more about her journey as a heptathlete, a dog mom, and her perspective on the importance of nutrition.
How has Emma provided comfort and motivation for you in your career?
By always being there as my best friend. Months ago, I had knee surgery, and my parents made sure to drive her to me, and she would not leave my side. No matter what happens, she's always excited to see you.
Why is making sure Emma has a nutritional diet important to you?
It's something that's important to me, too. I'm very cautious of what I put into my body. I want to live a long, healthy life and I want the same thing for Emma. She's (my family's) best friend and we want her around for a long time.
What does training look like for you in-season and off-season?
In-season, training is very time-consuming. Typically, I'll wake up, start my morning routine, and be at the track for three hours. After an hour break for lunch, I'll return to the track for another three hours, start my recovery & relaxation, and repeat.
