    No! Nulo’s Gently-Cooked Meals are designed to be fed at room temperature and don’t require any additional preparation steps. The pouches are not microwavable, so if you do choose to warm your pet’s meal up, transfer to a microwave-safe container.
    How can Gently-Cooked Meals be shelf-stable without preservatives?
    Nulo’s Gently-Cooked Meals are cooked inside of their pouches, making the ingredients sterile and shelf-stable without the use of preservatives, freezing, refrigerating, or thawing—it's the easiest way to serve up a homestyle meal!
    How long can I keep feeding my dog the pouches after opening?
    Our Gently-Cooked Meals should be fed immediately after opening (within 1 hour), and any unused portion stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. Once in the fridge, the Gently-Cooked Meals can be stored for up to 3 days after opening.
    Can Gently-Cooked Meals be frozen?
    Yes! Any unused portion of an opened pouch may be stored in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Tip: Fill puzzle toys or ice trays with Gently-Cooked Meals to create a fun and healthy playtime treat during the summer for your pets.
