Nulo is proud to partner with the Ozzie Albies Foundation, which was created in 2022 by Atlanta Braves player Ozzie Albies and his wife, Andreia. Their shared love of animals turned into something much bigger than a hobby — a nonprofit animal rescue organization dedicated to ending needless animal suffering through rescue, rehabilitation, training, and adoption. Every dog that comes through their doors arrives with a different story — some strays, some owner surrenders, and some that have been through more than a dog ever should. Once they find their way to the Foundation, the team gets to work to give that dog a real shot at a better life.
Today, the Foundation partners with local county shelters and a network of dedicated foster homes to care for dogs while they wait for their forever families. Once a dog is adopted, the Foundation's Best Chance Program helps cover vet care and sponsors professional training sessions, and the support doesn't stop there. The Foundation continues to offer guidance and resources long after a dog goes home to make sure every match sticks.
It's a mission Ozzie and Andreia live out at home, too. The couple currently has seven dogs of their own, every one of them a “foster fail.” Nulo is proud to help fuel that same mission for the dogs still waiting for their turn, supporting their journey from foster to forever home.
This September, that mission gets an extra boost. From September 1st through November 15th, 2026, Nulo's “Buy a Bag. Donate a Bag.” program will donate a bag of dry food to the Foundation for every bag of Nulo dry food purchased, helping foster partners feed the dogs in their care with premium nutrition.
